Who We Need
Lenati is looking for a senior Business Intelligence Consultant whose technical acuity supports a leadership role in developing roadmaps and plans with an ability to deliver executive level recommendations as well as an ability and interest to get into the details and tactics of a project.
Some of the areas you should demonstrate experience and interest in are working in web analytics, data mining, decision science, business/market analysis, economic, market and competitive analyses, ad-hoc queries, designing data models (interpretive and predictive), func/tech specs in the support of reporting and dashboards, process mapping, implementation planning, lead functional requirements gathering and business scoping.
You’ll be a critical advisor and link within our organization collaborating with information asset management teams creating meaningful solutions and plans based on science. Excel, PowerPivot should be second-nature while adding some combination of SQL, SAS, SPSS, Omniture, WebTrends would be helpful. You’ll have a BS degree in computer science, economics, engineering, hard science (biology, chemistry), mathematics or business. Take all of this and add to it your project management, presentation and team facilitation skills.
Qualifications
-Knowledge of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and BI system components
-Successful program management of multiple BI projects
-Development of BI roadmaps and project plans
-Leadership of BI teams through all phases - requirements gathering, solution design, system development, testing/user acceptance testing , deployment and solution adoption
-Familiarity with BI data modeling
-Experience with UI design
-Design and delivery of BI program communications
-Experience with executive level communications and escalation of project risks, issues, and dependencies
-Development of integration testing, UAT and readiness plans
-Participation in global releases
-Involvement with data governance programs
-Exposure to master data management
-PMI certification (plus)
