Jen Winter is the co-founder and Managing Partner for Lenati. Her passion is helping clients leverage their most important asset – their customers. Jen helps lead Lenati’s Sales Performance Team. Throughout her career, she has focused on the design and construction of connected marketing and sales channel programs. Her penchant for technology continues to drive her focus on technology integration and adoption to increase program performance and speed to market. Prior to co-founding Lenati, Jen was a Vice President for the Pacific Northwest practice of Hitachi Consulting and led their Customer Solutions practice.
Kris Klein is the co-founder and Managing Partner for Lenati. He has 25 years of experience in both executive leadership and consulting roles with leading consumer and technology brands, including Apple, Microsoft, Starbucks, Google, Nike, Nordstrom, Adobe, Hitachi, and Salesforce.com. His areas of expertise are strategic planning, loyalty and retention models, and customer experience design. Kris works directly with boards and senior executives to accomplish the highest imperatives for companies, spanning innovation to margin improvement, and his work is often cited as the leading contributor to significantly improved profit contribution. Honored by the PSBJ as a 40-under-40 leader, Kris also co-authored The Art and Science of Customer Experience with Lenati’s CX Practice.
Kirk Johnson is a Partner with Lenati helping lead the Customer Acquisition Team. Kirk helps clients design and improve their digital experience and increase their revenue through sales, marketing and service excellence. He specializes in business and channel strategy, sales and service optimization as well as implementing the solutions he helps design. His industry experience includes online, advertising, telecommunications and software. He has worked with leading brands such as, T-Mobile, Concur, Expedia, HTC and Philips. Prior to joining Lenati, Kirk’s recent roles include Director of Consulting Services at Hitachi Consulting and Vice President of Global Client Service at Jobster.com.
Martin Mehalchin is a Partner at Lenati where he leads the relationship with some of the firm’s largest clients and helps drive the growth of our Customer Experience Services. He has dedicated his career to working with executives and managers to help them define their strategies and then translate those strategies into results. Martin is a Brain Trust panel member on Retailwire.com and is a sought after seminar leader and speaker at conferences and on webinars. Among the clients Martin has worked with are Nike, Atlantic Records, Microsoft, Qualcomm, Expedia, Victoria’s Secret, Adidas and DuPont. Martin is a Board member and Chair of the Marketing Committee for the North Cascades Institute.
Courtney Klein is one of the founding members of Lenati. In her capacity as CFO, she oversees all financial, tax, and operational functions of the firm. Her experience includes executive roles at Trimlite LLC and Aptimus LLC after beginning her post-graduate career at Deloitte. Philanthropy is a critical part of Courtney’s DNA, as can be seen through her roles as Ambassador Board Chair and past Board Chair of Big Brothers Big Sisters, as well as an active YWCA volunteer. She also mentors MBA students at UW’s Foster School of Business, her alma mater. Courtney has been recognized as a PSBJ CFO of the Year and 40 Under 40.
Eric Smith is the Vice President of Employee Experience at Lenati. He has over 15 years of experience in both generalist and leadership Human Resources roles supporting a range of industries and capabilities including technology, marketing, sales, design, consulting and manufacturing. His areas of expertise are workforce planning, training, career development, employee relations and strategic management. Eric works collaboratively with leaders and managers to guide, develop, and implement programs to attract, retain and development the best workforce possible. He holds an active SPHR certificate through the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM).
Chris Massot is a Vice President at Lenati. His passion is helping organizations through their reinvention and evolution. Chris has a diverse background in technology, product and service development, social science, design and manufacturing; and has had the great fortune of helping to create disruptive products and experiences for customer-obsessed brands such as Microsoft, Nike, Disney, Apple, Facebook and the NFL. He has also had the privilege to work on important and fulfilling work for organizations like the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, and for companies looking to “do good while doing well.”
Clay Walton-House is a Principal at Lenati and leads our Customer Retention and Loyalty Team. Clay helps Fortune 500 companies create and implement new and interesting customer engagement strategies that accelerate growth and build loyalty. His expertise lies in understanding consumer behavior and translating it into actionable customer insights. Clay has a proven track record of successful program design & optimization and CRM operations, helping uncover ways to build retention and loyalty strategies into a company’s broader business model. Clay has worked with clients across both B2B and consumer industries including telecom, high-tech, retail, travel, hospitality and entertainment. Past clients include Hilton, Nordstrom, Microsoft, Expedia, T-Mobile and Adobe Systems.
Lisa Schlichting is a Principal at Lenati and leads our Go-To-Market Team with expertise spanning Go-To-Market strategy, Customer Insights, Marketing Strategy and Execution with a focus on the high-tech industry. Her passion is found in helping growing to Fortune 500 clients leverage customer behavior and market insights to develop the most effective routes to market. Given she started her career at global advertising agencies, her strategic experience is grounded in a foundation of marketing execution. Lisa has worked across a variety of well-known brands such as Windows, Office 365, Logitech, Salesforce.com and Philips.
Liam O’Connor is a Principal at Lenati where he leads the Customer Acquisition Team. He has over 15 years of management consulting experience leading major marketing and sales transformation initiatives with Fortune 500 clients across industries, with significant depth in the technology sector. Liam partners with senior executives and their teams to implement integrated marketing and sales models, accelerating profitable growth through data-driven strategies and technology-enabled programs. His particular areas of expertise include B2B marketing and sales management, lifecycle marketing programs, marketing technology and marketing analytics. Past clients include Microsoft, Cisco, Dell, SAP, IBM, Symantec, Epicor, Agilent, British Telecom, ADP, Humana, Hilton, Callaway Golf and Rosetta Stone. Liam also founded and ran a small marketing agency in Europe.
James is a Principal at Lenati and leads our Experience Design team. He brings more than two decades of experience helping brands understand and navigate the complexities of the digital and non-digital world to engage with users and achieve business success. James has extensive experience leading user-centered experience design and digital strategy engagements across retail, automotive, technology, and education. His work includes award-winning and business-shifting experience design work for both B2C and B2B brands, including DSW, Nike, Macys, Calphalon, Seventh Generation, Subaru, Toyota, Jeep, Jack Links, TopGolf and Vans. Prior to joining Lenati, James held senior-level roles at SMITH, Carmichael Lynch, Digitas, Organic, Toyota/Lexus and Macys.
Steve is a Principal at Lenati and has over twenty-five years of domestic and international experience in digital transformation. He has been part of crafting the changes in our everyday lives that mobile and digital technologies have made possible. His passion is creating new digital experiences by guiding the technology, marketing and business relationships that must come together to make them a success. He’s a builder with a proven track record in new market identification, customer focused experience creation, product development, strategic positioning, go-to-market execution, experience adoption and partner activation. Past employers and clients include BlackBerry, Microsoft, Disney and Facebook, along with several technology startups.
Allison is a Director at Lenati and leads our Experience Design team. With an expertise in human-centered design, Allison is passionate about helping companies extract insights, identify opportunities, and design solutions that achieve business outcomes. She does this by leading with a proven context-first approach: by deeply understanding context, we foster empathy and uncover micro-moments that matter, so that we can meet human needs and design impactful, scalable experiences. Her work includes experience strategy and design engagements across both B2B and B2C brands including AT&T, Microsoft, DSW, Footlocker, Safeco, and Nike.
Julie Wotruba is a Director at Lenati and leads our research and insights practice. She has more than two decades of experience in uncovering market insights and translating them into actionable recommendations impacting business decisions. Her specialty is asking the right questions, generating strategic learning and insight – and rolling it all up into compelling storylines. She is experienced with both B2B and B2C audiences, and has worked across various industries – specializing in retail, technology, software/services and CPG/FMCG. Her background also includes extensive international experience. Prior to joining Lenati, Julie held senior-level research and insights roles at Microsoft, Philips, Levi Strauss, and Ogilvy&Mather.
Jared Dodson is a Senior Manager at Lenati with deep expertise in Customer Acquisition with a focus on B2B Marketing and Sales. His passion is helping companies leverage technology to create personalized and relevant customer engagements at scale. Working with Fortune companies—such as Adobe, T-Mobile, Microsoft, Johnson Controls—Jared has led large-scale initiatives focused on Lead Generation & Management, Account Based Marketing, B2B & Partner Marketing, Marketing Technology, Sales Process, and Sales Enablement. Jared’s experience spans industries including high-tech, software, telecommunications, energy, and insurance.
Loren Bors is a Senior Manager at Lenati who brings over 10 years of consulting experience and a passion to help clients better understand and reach customers to his work. He’s provided insights to companies of all shapes and sizes, from national and worldwide enterprises (including Microsoft, Nordstrom, and T-Mobile) to startups entering the market for the first time to nonprofits with over a century of history. Bors has developed customer research approaches, SaaS business models, channel and partner programs, consumer loyalty strategies, and technology product retirement go-to-market motions. He’s been lucky to grow with Lenati over the last seven years.
